She has been in practice since October 1, 1984 when she joined the Firm. Karla is a graduate of Adams State College and a San Luis Valley native. Shareholder as of January 1, 1996 and oversees the entire audit department. Directly involved in the planning, work paper review and report phase on all of the audits.
Extensive experience since 1984 includes performing audits of governmental entities as well as financial institutions, non-profits and private entities. Participated in all of the Firm's quality control reviews, which have resulted in unqualified opinions. Experience with working on large entities and with COFRS.
Member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
